About Me

Like many of you, owning a business was not my initial dream as a kid growing up. My whole life I was told if I did XYZ then I’d be set on the right path to carry me through life. So, I did what I was supposed to do. I finished high school, graduated college, worked hard and did all the things. 

After starting a family and moving several times, something still didn’t feel right. Somehow as life went on, one of two things kept ringing true for me…I either needed more time or more money. 

I wanted to keep a stable way of life while also being able to spend more quality time with my family. What’s the point of working so hard if enjoying the fruits of my labor are few and far in between? This lead to me starting Leveraging Books for bookkeeping. As many other people have also started their own business for the exact same reasons I did. You either want more of your time back or to be able to make more money.
